In 1999, Asia was the first to direct a feature film with Scarlet Diva where she was the main actor and wrote the screenplay. The film debuted in May 2000 across Italy as well as the rest of the world. The film was awarded an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
